![]() If you have little to no formal musical training, you’re probably very unfamiliar with how to recognise notes in songs and are guessing that it’s probably something you have to learn, and it’s gonna take a long time, and you just wanna do a cover of a song that doesn’t have a VSQ yet and everything is too hard for what you’re trying to do. I might do one on tuning later, but this is for people who don’t even know how to notes yet. This tutorial is going to go into how to recognise and input the right notes, timing, etc into your VSQ. I also know that’s it’s hard to find a tutorial on how to actually MAKE one, rather than edit one that basically already exists. The idea of making your first VSQ is pretty daunting, yeah, I know. Yamaha has some pretty good beginner videos on how to use the current engine on their YouTube channel.) Eg being able to make notes, resize, enter lyrics, import wav, etc. (For the purposes of this tutorial, I’m going to assume the reader knows how all the basic functions of the program works.
